Nude Figure Seated Pose Art Deco Metal Bookends, Made in USA, 1930s

Art deco metal bookends featuring a nude seated figure and "MADE IN USA" on the back. There is also a tiny circle with a dot on the back which may be a makers mark. These wonderful items were cast in spelter (white metal) with bronze coloured finish, and have a hollow interior with felt base. The only information I can find is that they were called "Seated Pose", maker unknown, and date circa 1930.

Condition - good condition exhibiting moderate crazing and minor wear of the finish. There are also a couple of cracks on the back of one of the bases (see pic #6), not uncommon in spelter pieces. Mold seams will be evident in the casting.
