This beautiful late Victorian-era green pressed glass oil lamp was produced by Dalzell, Gilmore and Leighton (Findlay, Ohio) which operated from 1885-1898. It measures approx 12-1/4" to the top of the burner (19-1/2" to the top of the chimney) and 5-1/2" at it's widest. It features a cable pattern on the font (or reservoir), and fishscale pattern below. The base features a stepped hexagonal shape. The chimney is a historically accurate pie-crust design, which I am assuming is a reproduction. This lamp features an Ebling shrunk-on clinched collar patented by Phillip Ebling of Dalzell, Gilmore and Leighton, first used in May 1894. It has a screw-in prong burner marked "Queen Mary" which itself probably dates a bit later (1910-1936?).

Attribution note - this piece can be attributed to Dalzell, Gilmore and Leighton (Findlay, Ohio) based on a similar design seen on page 252 of the book "Oil lamps : the kerosene era in North America" by Thuro, Catherine M. V. which is freely available as a digital library book from archive.org.

Condition - (1) the glass lamp is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some minor residue in the font (i.e .reservoir). The base of the lamp has two minor rough edges. Some minor glassmaking flaws are present including some bubbles and strawmarks (see pics 8 and 9, which exhibits a large bubble). (2) the clinch collar is in excellent condition, and the burner looks to be in good condition (3) the chimney looks to be in excellent condition.
