Blue Transferware Vase, Babes in the Woods, Unmarked

Very nice blue transferware vase featuring an iconic "Babes in the woods" pattern, measuring approx 4-1/2" tall by 3-3/4" wide. Unmarked except for "47" on the base. Attribution note - The primary producers of "Babes in the woods" were Royal Doulton (known as "Blue Children") and Royal Bayreuth, however this piece is unmarked. As the transferware pattern was available for other china painters to use in the early 1900s, it was likely produced by another company using blanks. It is uncertain to say though when this piece was produced.

Condition - Very good condition with no chips or cracks.
