Antique French Legras Handpainted Floral Periwinkle Blue Satin Glass Vase 14"

This wonderful large hand-painted periwinkle blue satin glass vase was produced in the early 1900s by the Verreries et Cristalleries Legras of Saint-Denis, France. This Lamartine-shaped vase measures approx 14" tall by 3-1/2" wide (5-1/4" at the base). It features a striking hand-painted enamel decoration depicting white Poppy Anenomes, and gold coloured hand-painted trim at the top. The base exhibits a concave ground pontil mark, with a tiny hand-painted "16" marking.

Condition - very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some minor scuff marks near the base as demonstrated in pic #6. There is also light wear on the base. A few bubbles and minor glassmaking defects will additionally be present in the glass.
